IOM in Poland implements projects aimed at the private sector to promote ethical recruitment, respect for the rights of migrants and migrant women as well as the elimination of forced labour from value chains and the prevention of human trafficking.

Job description
Under the overall guidance of the Chief of Mission, the overall supervision of the Resource Management Under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Assistant and overall supervision by the Programme Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible to liaise with private employers to support the inclusion in the labour market of beneficiaries of the Labour Mobility and Social Inclusion Programme.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and undertake desk review and analysis to feed the mapping of prospective employers across Poland;
- Establish communication with competent contact persons with organizations and companies, generate leads and cold calls to create a prospective employers’ network;
- Identify opportunities and areas of work to cultivate partnerships with private sector actors to promote the employability potential of project beneficiaries in Poland;
- Support job-skills matching process through for vacancies relevant to individual professional profiles of IOM beneficiaries.
- Collaborate with competent colleagues to develop and implement outreach strategies towards employers;
- Liaise beneficiaries with open vacancies in cooperation with competent colleagues;
- Support the organization of information sessions, workshops, seminars, job clubs, and other relevant events, as applicable;
- Support the creation and update of material and tools for raising awareness among the employers on ethical recruitment processes and beneficiaries’ rights to employment;
- Assist in development of the reporting and evaluation tools, submit progress and ad hoc reports from the services provided.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma with six years of relevant experience; or,
- Bachelor’s degree and/or higher in Business Administration, Public Relations, Economics, Finance, Law, Marketing or any other related field; postgraduate diplomas or relevant trainings in the field of Business Administration, Public Relations and career counselling will be considered an advantage
Experience
- Experience in public relations with private and public entities;
- Experience in business consultancy and familiarity with the labour law;
- Experience and knowledge in social solidarity economy;
- Experience in recruitment procedures;
- Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups will be considered an advantage;
- Experience in writing reports;
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Skills
- Very good knowledge of the legislation governing self-employment and creation of SME;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, personal commitment, efficiency and flexibility;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Good level of computer literacy;
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and keep deadlines;
- Strong work ethics and commitment to humanitarian principles
Languages
- Fluency in English, and Polish is required. Fluency in Ukrainian and/or Russian is desirable.
