Finance Maganer / Chief Accountant

Location: Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki

Duties:

Managing the Accounting Department and supervising colleagues in our plants and local structure in Poland
Country lead for implementation of group-standard Accounting software, restructuring of respective work processes
Preparation of management & financial reports as per the group standards and as per the local accounting standards, reconciliations between management reporting and accounting.
Preparation and participation in works related to the audit of annual financial statements by a statutory auditor and participation in other audits and controls related to the company's accounting and finances
Participation in the month-/year-end closing process in close cooperation with the controlling department
Cooperation with external institutions and tax authorities
Supervision of all accounting processes and tax settlements correctness
Responsibility for transfer pricing documentation
Supervision of the process of the annual inventory of stocks
Participation in ongoing optimization and development projects

Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in the accounting area within an international company
Experience in a similar role at a manufacturing industry will be an asset
An academic degree in the field (accounting, finance)
Good knowledge of Polish accounting law
Fluent English
Fluent use of the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel
Ability to work under time pressure
Good interpersonal skills and proven track of leading people
B category driver’s license
